A short film, however, must function as a closed narrative system.

About the Instructor

Terry Dray is a writer and filmmaker with a background in film production, television, and stage performance. His work examines story through a diagnostic lens, focusing on the structural mechanics that allow narrative pressure to operate effectively.

He is the creator of the Screenwriter’s Edge series and the YouTube project The Investigation: Anatomy of Story, which examines major structural paradigms used in screenwriting.
